Dates in Windows Mail

In Outlook I could format my date columns to show only the date and not the
time (which I am not interested in). This doesn't seem to be possible in
Windows Mail unless there's spme trick I've missed. Any ideas?

As workaround: Just reduce the width if the column so that it only shows
the date.
