date tooltip

The date tooltip (and other tooltips) sometimes often
disappear behind the toolbar and any open programs.
How can I correct this?

I have noticed the same problem with systray tooltips
ever since I started using XP. Can't seem to find a
solution anywhere. Please let me know if you do!

Not yet, but somebody suggested updating my drivers. I
have the most up do date, though ...
