Date stamp

I have a footer on ea. page that says "date last
modified:" Problem -- when I make a change on any page,
the date automatically updates to the current date. This
works just fine while I'm working in Frontpage on my hard
drive. Then I publish the page or pages, and the old
date still shows up on the actual web site.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

You need to publish the site using the Change Pages Only option, not individual or select pages.

Change the Timestamp component properties to use "Date page last
automatically updated"

I am assuming the Timestamp is in a shared border or include page. This
will show the current date when the page is being edited, and the date the
include or border was last updated when viewed in a browser, unless the
above property change is made.
