date masking on form

I would like to mask a date to allow a user to enter one digit to two digits
for the month and day and one digit for the year. I can do 99/99/9, but then
they have to enter a zero in front of one-digit month and years. They seem to
have a problem with that. I can concatenate a zero in if necessary, but that
seems silly to me. How can I have a leading zero in month/day ? thanks-

Is this Control bound to a date/time field in your tables? If so, set the
field's format to "ShortDate". Access will handle the rest.
