Date in sys tray

Sometimes when I hover over the time, it does not display the date, other
times it does. I am tired of getting up and walking over to my paper
calendar. What can I do? Please do not say "Move your paper calendar".

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul - There's a very nice and useful little program call TClock which
should solve this for you. Free, here:
http://users.iafrica.com/d/da/dalen/tclockex.htm Highly recommended.

Sorry I missed the OP. You can also just drag the systray up so it's two
lines. It then displays the time, day and date.

I m not sure how this would help, but more to the point is that my xp pro
installation will not allow this. I thought not allowing me to manually
increase the height of the taskbar was a new "feature" of xp pro. Maybe it
is just my installation...

Maybe I will try this.

I thought that my system was not recognizing mouse over date movement, which
TClock might not solve. Do others have my problem??

I did apologise for missing the OP. If I drew a wrong conclusion, I once again
hang my head and beg forgiveness. Just tryin' ta help.
I can change the height easily. Is your taskbar "Locked"? You can right-click
it and unlock it.

Yes it was locked, now it is taller and the date is there, thanks. I would
still like to know why it was not always showing when I hover. Do u have
Bill's #??

It wouldn't do you any good...he's on the National "Do not call" list!
