Date format when exporting to Excel

Hi
We have a database used by several people. They often export data to Excel
by right-clicking the table and choosing Export. This normally works fine
but on a couple of occasions, dates have been converted from dd/mm/yyyy to
mm/dd/yyyy - not all of them but just those that make sense that way round.
eg 01/04/2000 converted to 04/01/2000 but 23/07/2000 stayed the same.

I have tried to reproduce the problem unsuccessfully. For example, if I
change the international setting to US, all the dates convert.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Yes I suppose that's the answer. It's annoying because I' like to know why
it's happening. Oh well...

Fiona,

I would make sure everybody has the same Date format in Windows since that
is where Access draws it from.
