M Mike DeLeonardis Nov 10, 2003 #4 it's tough to say if it's a virus or not, do you have a virus checker? go to START / PROGRAMS / StartUP list all the programs there.

M Mike DeLeonardis Nov 10, 2003 #6 weird. im at a loss without physically sitting in front of your computer. you can delete the microsoft office in the startup folder, that's pretty much pointless and just causes unneeded overhead in Windows. perhaps run ad-aware http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10214379.html?tag=lst-0-1 click "download" maybe that might detect some spyware program running. if that's the culprit
