I just noticed a program in the HKLM/Run section of my 'startups'
called DataCaching, with an executable filename of FLashKsk.exe. It
may have been there ages, and may be perfectly innocent (or even
necessary). Anyone know what it is please?

Running Windows XP Home.

Hi Terry,

It's a file used by smartmedia cards.

Could Keyser Soze post that reply again please; I'm getting "Sorry.

Aha - thanks, Rick. Must be a result of installing that 'multiple card
reader' the other day.
