Database Sharing

D

David Ranieri

When adding a remote user per the directions of the startup wizard, we have
done everything as stated. When we attempt to connect to the remote computer
which houses the database w/ the password change, we get this message:
"Business Contact Manager for Outlook could not change your password on
computer XXXXXXXX. Possible causes include: your remote account is disabled,
your remote account is locked out, or the remote database has not been
marked as shared. Check with the administrator of the remote computer."
My remote account is emabled. My remote account is not locked out. The
remote database has been marked as shared.
What do we need to do?

What do we need to do?

Just set the password you want directly on the server, and make sure
it matches the password on the client.
