Ive just started using Frontpage2003 so this may seem daft to most users but
i cant seem to connect to my access database

i run the databases interface wizard, i then select connect to an external
database, enter a connection name then i get stuck, when it askks for the
server

the database im trying to connect to is at C:\Easytousedatabases\

im trying to sent a form on frontpage2003 into an access2003 table

Does someone know what im doing wrong??

Try importing the database into your current open web, then you can create a connection to.

thanks for info Thomas

i've imported my database into my web site, created a form and opened the
form properties. selected sent to database, then in options in database
connection to be used, i selected my connection that i created whilst
importing my database.

i then get this error msg, any ideas? please

Server error: Unable to retrieve the list of record sources from a database
using the connection string:

DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=URL=fpdb/Easy To Use
Databases.mdb.

The following error message comes from the database driver software; it may
appear in a different language depending on how the driver is configured.

I would rename the database to easytousedatabases.mdb (removing the spaces
and making it all lower case) and start over.

Where did you get it from?
- based on the file name problem it may be using database field names w/ spaces in it which is also not supported
