One of my students has a database held on our network that she is working on
using various machines around the campus depending on where there is a free
machine.

Today, in one room that she has used before, she is being asked for the
database password to open the database. Having not set one she can't supply
this. The database opens fine in another room.
Whats going on? All are MS XP and Access 2000

Can others open it? Is that one machine's shortcut linked to a
workgroup? How exactly is she opening it?
