Data transfer

Is there a way I could transfer all data in My Documents (about 50 folders,
each with numerous files) from my Vista PC to my XP PC. Both computers are
on the same Broadband router and I have a Belkin Transfer Cable for Windows
Vista (which I bought to transfer date from XP to Vista, but did not use
it). If there is please be very explicit in your instructions on how I
should proceed, since I am a self learned user, with limited knowledge.
Thank you.

You don't want to do this with the Belkin cable. If you think you will
want to share files/printers between the two computers, you can set up a
network. If this is a one-time deal and you're getting rid of the old
computer (or if you just don't want to set up a network), then simply
copy your XP data to a usb thumb drive with enough capacity or burn the
data to CD/DVD-R. Then just copy the data to the Documents folder on
your Vista machine.

If you need more details, please post back with more information about
which way you want to go.
