data shown by explorer

hi!

when i start windows explorer, on the right side he always shows me all the
data of the main drive, and i don´t want him to do this. i only want to see
the drives and not the data on the drives.

i hope anybody understands what i mean, because my english is not very well.

May be you'll have to restate the question again. Right side has the Preview pane (if enabled).

sorry, you´re right!

it´s not at the right side, it´s the left side. when you open the folders
(under favourites links).
explorer shows me all folders of c:.

Use the WinKey+E shortcut. The focus will be on "Computer", so that the drive will not be expanded.
