Data Recovery Software

I shall appreciate it if someone can recommend any data recovery software
that can recover deleted data files of around 5 to 6 GB in size (WinXP *.bkf
files).

There are quite a few listed on www.Download.com but file sizes are not
mentioned.

This is to help someone in the family who deleted the wrong archive folder,
earlier this afternoon. The drive was immediately disconnected after
shutting down the PC. I have File Rescue Plus from Software Shelf but it
could not see any file bigger than 2 GB. I checked this by connecting the
bare drive to my PC with a USB2-IDE adapter.
