Data Filter -Drop Down

Using shared drive -Excel 2000 (9.0.4402 SR-1) -when I
open file and use DATA Filter - the Drop downs are being
displayed as Drop ups and accessing top of list is not
visible -must shrink window to display. Is there a way to
convert from drop up back to a drop down view? Please
note other Users do not encounter same problem on their PC.
 
The only time I've seen xl do this is when there isn't enough room at the bottom
of the screen to show the dropdown.

Can you scroll up to see more at the bottom (or even change the zoom setting to
something smaller so more can be seen)?

(I got about 20 rows to appear within that dropdown--and that included (All, top
10, and custom).)
