HI,

I have a simple home computer set up. Consisting a desktop PC,
wireless router and laptop. I've since added a wireless network
printer HP 2710.

All works well, but when I turn on my laptop I get loads of pop up
error messages these typically are:

1st pop up window:
"Data Execution Prevention - Microsoft Windows"
To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program.
Name: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services
Publisher: Microsoft Corporation

2nd pop up:
Generic Host Process for Win32 Services
Generic Host Process for Win32 Services encountered a problem and
needed to close.
This error occured on 14/05/2007 at 21:56:17

Blah blah blah

These 2 windows keep popping up about 6 times each. It's really
anoying. Anyone know what to do?

Thanks for looking and thanks for your help.

I think it is the Printer get the latest driver from the HP site, you may
have an old driver of the software defective.

Nass, hi.

Thank you so much for your mail.

Your suggestion was simple but absolutely spot on. I've reloaded the
latest driver and the problem has gone.

Talk is cheap, but nevertheless for what little it's worth I do
appreciate your help.
Many Thanks.

Best regards
Richard
