I have 30 DVDs important document (include my family photos .bmp .jpeg files, and old home video .mpg files) but now when I need them, I cannot copy these files back to my computer, or cannot open with anyprogram.
The message display: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
I don't know
1/ that is wrong with bad(?) disc (I used many kind of disc: DVD-R DVD+R, different brand name: Memorex, Fujifilm, KHypermedia, CompUSA....., but whole disc have same error), or
2/ that is wrong with my DVD burner (NEC DVD-RW ND-1300A, and I used software Roxio Easy CD-DVD Creator 6) or
3/ wrong with Win32?
I don't how I fixing all of my disc, because that is really important document with my family, I have not second copies. I'm crying.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks so much.

CRC failures indicate device problems or faulty media.

No recovery process that you can manage will handle this.

Try using your media in another PC. It may just be your Optical Drive is faulty and the media is OK - CD is good but reader is bad.

Thanks for helping. I just test my DVDs in another computer, and all of them (30 DVDs) are OK. I'am happy now.
