Darn Standby... Computer Beginner Needs Help!

How do you stop your computer from going into standby automatically, and then
having to re-log in again? I am using Windows XP Home Edition, and I can't
seem to figure it out. After a length of time without doing anyting, it goes
into standby and if it's long enough, i'll have to restart all of my programs
again!
Please help!

Thanks, Allan

Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Double click Display.
Click on the Screen Saver tab.
Remove the check mark from the box next to "On resume, password
protect".
Below that box, click on the Power button.
This should launch Power Options.
In Power Options, click on the Advanced tab.
Remove the check mark from the box next to "Prompt for password
when computer resumes from standby".
Finally, click on the Power Schemes tab.
Here you can change the settings for when your system goes into
standby.
Once you've finished making any changes you can hit OK on both
open applets.

Good luck
