DAO.msi error

I hope this is the correct newsgroup for my question. I have been having a
problem with Access 2003 for awhile. When I try to run a report, the
windows installer begins then a box that windows installer is installing
DAO. Eventually a dialog box appears that "The feature you are trying to
use is on a network resource that is unavailable". There is an option to
redirect to the folder containing DAO.msi. I have searched my system and do
not have this file. If I cancel this procedure repeats for a total of 3
times then Access continues with the report normally. Today I installed the
trial of Corel Draw 12 and I now get the same messages when starting Corel
Draw. Again, cancelling 3 times and the program appears to start normally.
I searched the knowledge base without success.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Hello Jackie,

I opted not to use Access2003 this first time it annoyed me which is when I
first tried to open a database, so I am not sure of the installation
options, but I would suggested uninstalling the program, then reinstall
selected all of the available options. Othe than that, it sounds like
another thing Microsoft probably built into Access to annoy us. ;)

God Bless,
