Damaged ActiveX file

In my "Downloaded Program Files" folder there are several
ActiveX files, and the status of one of them
is "damaged." How do I fix this? I have Windows XP home,
with Service Pack 2 installed. Thank you!

Did you find a fix to this problem? I am having the same problem & can't
find an answer. Thank you

Hi,
Damaged objects in Downloaded Program Files can simply be removed via
right-click> remove.

If a particular website needs an object that's not there, it should be
offered for download on the next visit to that site.
