D Drive Problems

Hello;

I'm another person who lost my D Drive somehow. We just bought a new
computer from MDG. I'd say about 2 weeks ago. We lost our D Drive
about 1 week ago. Anyway. I was burning disks late one night last
week, and I woke up the next morning trying to play the CD's, and they
would'nt play. I know that I didn't delete anything. Presto and it was
gone. The D Drive is still in the Device Manager, but not in My
Computer. I don't know what that's all about, I'm very new to
computers. I tried to fix the problem, but it says that it's a Code
39, whatever that is. The computer operates on Vista Home Premium. If
I deleted somehow, My wife is going to kill me. Help Please.

Try to Remove in Device manager then Restart the Computer, windows will
detect and install the driver for you.

You are much more likely to get the help you need if you ask Vista questions
in a Vista newsgroup, rather than here in an XP one.

Also be sure to tell them what kind of a drive your D: drive is. I think you
mean that it's a CD drive, but not everyone's D: drive is a CD drive, and
you should make it clear.
