D drive inaccessible

whenever i attempt to copy my pictures to cd i get an
error message saying D:/ inaccessible. i looked at the
properties of the drive and it says the disk is full but
it is really BLANK as proven by my ability to copy audio
files onto the same disc after my attempt to copy picture
files. PLEASE HELP!

Start/My Computer/rightclick "D" drive under Devices... >
Click to expand...
Properties > AutoPlay tab > click down arrow
under "Content type..." and select "Pictures" > select
Action to Perform" > Apply > OK
