I keep getting a "D:\CDSETUP.exe.Could not load specified
in registry" error when I start up my computer. Then I
get a second desktop error saying "Windows could not find
D:\CDSETUP.exe." ( and of course, the d drive does not
work properly..)

Any ideas would be very appreciated!

You have a program that is in startup and or startup
registry that requires a cd to be mounted. Probably
wasn't uninstalled properly.

You need to delete the entries for this. I use autorun to
remove startup entries. It will list all startup entries.
It is similar to msconfig.exe but alot more definative
and user friendly.

You can download autoruns from :

http://doc.sch130.nsc.ru/www.sysinternals.com/files/autoru
ns.zip
download and save to disk.
You need to unzip the file. Then create a shortcut of
autorun.exe file and drag to start menu to place in all
programs

Run autorun and look for CDSETUP.exe and uncheck the box.
