| Hello all. I copy data onto DL DVD RW discs, then delete the file on my
hard
| drive. I went to copy a file from the DVD back to the hard drive, and got
a
| Cyclic Redundancy error, and the file would not copy. It's perfectly
| readable on the DVD, but I can't copy it to HD, flash drive, or anything.
| What's the problem?
| Thanks.

Either your source volume (the DVD) or the target volume (HDD)
has a serious problem. I suspect your DVD or else the DVD drive
is marginal. Make another copy on a different machine!

Don't you mean the filename and properties is perfectly readable on the DVD,
not the data contained within that file.
