When I do a search on my system I get a recurrent error message:-

Any idea what it refers to?

Possibly you downloaded a keygen program that is strangely starting with
Windows? Start>Run and type "msconfig". Look at the Startup tab to see
programs starting with Windows and uncheck the likely culprit. Scan
with your current antivirus using updated definitions. Remove spyware
with Spybot S&D and Ad-aware.

It was a program that had been loaded onto my home PC from a magazine cover
disk.
I hadn't realised that it was there 'til you pointed out the possibility
