cut & paste

Please could any one shed some light on how to . Cut and
paste data into the Find what dialogue box inside the
Find command.
Would be much appreciated.

You can use keyboard shortcuts:

Ctrl+C -- Copy
Ctrl+V -- Paste

Use CTRL + C to copy and CRTL + V to paste.
