The no copy, paste, etc because the "blaster worm" virus or one of its
variants
has infiltrate in your computer.
To remove it you first have to see if the virus is loaded in memory, start
the task manager and look for a prosess named "msblast.exe" --> thats the
virus. Kill the process and then erase all ocurrences of the file in your
hard disk and the start menu.
After that you have to install the patch provided by microsoft as quickly as
possible because the virus will return for been connected to the internet.

It's for win2k.
Another way to prevent the virus to reenter is to install a firewall and
block the ports the virus use. But if u apply the patch it would be enought.
