For me, the most significant difference between Outlook Express and Mail is
the inability to......

Open a group> Select All> Copy> Paste (to body of New Message.)
This produced "clickable links" for the email recipient.

The only solution I have found is to copy and paste everything through a
word processor
which is a real pain. I use my old xp computer for group emails. Ridiculous!

Does anyone know of a way round this?
I've tried Thunderbird and Live Mail only imports 13 of my 400+ addresses.
Still no way to get OE onto Vista???
Thanks!

How often do you need to share your contacts with others?
Do your contacts know you are giving their address away?
Why not put the addresses in the CC: field, so they know what you are doing?

Outlook Express won't run under Vista.

It isn't clear whether you are using Windows Mail, or the confusingly
similarly
named program Windows Live Mail, or something else.

If it's Windows Live Mail, you'll get a faster answer if you ask in
newsgroup:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

If it's Windows Mail, see here:

<http://www.vista4beginners.com/Migrate-from-Outlook-Express-to-Windows-Mail>

Bring along the .wab file if you want your old contacts list (address
book). After you copy the files to a directory on the hard disk
of your new computer, but before you import them into Windows
Mail, make sure the copies are read-write instead of readonly.

If you're using yet another email program, let us know which email
program and maybe someone else can tell you what to do.
