and then click on the startup tab. Any program you don't want starting up with Windows - uncheck it. It is advisable to keep at the least the entries for your anti-virus program and also the entry for any 3rd partyFirewall that is install. Some programs may not be listed there as those settings are within the program itself. You will need to reboot your PC for the changes to take effect.
