Customizing incoming mail into different accounts

Ok, I know now that customizing Outlook is like "kicking a whale down
the beach." However, I know that downloading mail to show in my
in-box in different colors is possible. I want to use blue for one
account and red for another. How do I do that?

Is this possible or are we still talking about whales?
