Customizing folders- HELP

Guest

I customized one of my folders in "My Pictures" by putting one of my pictures
on the folder to indicate what was in the folder. I did this by right
clicking on the folder , selecting "Properties>Customize> Folder
Pictures>Choose Picture. For some reason, this picture is showing up on
numerous folders, not only in my pictures, not only in my Documents, but all
throughout my system. There are a few folders that have escaped this
picture, but not many. I tried using the restore default button that is
right under the choose picture button on that customize tab, and in some
cases it worked, but in most cases, it does not. HELP!

Hi Magsowner,

See if resetting the folder views helps. Try this:

Click Start, Run and type CONTROL FOLDERS
Select the View tab, and click "Reset All Folders"
Click OK

If that does not help, apply the fix at line #2 here:

(Increase Folder View Size Limit to 8000)
