Customize to run Solid Works

Hello, I am looking for information or a contact to discuss options on
tuning XP for optimum performance to run Solid Works. Also, is there any
special OS's designed for this from Microsoft?

I had already tried that. I was hoping for a little more in depth answer
right from Microsoft. XP is the issue, not Solid Works, because Solid Works
worked better under win2k. I have tried to talk to Microsoft on the phone
and got the same 'it is someone elses issue' response. Thanks anyhow.
