I feel embarrased asking (what may seem)silly questions for all you
professionals to see:) Here goes.
Is it possible to have a printer customized by a pro...for Webtv P/M mat
976 +...there are only a few printers that are compatable, that you can
find now.(older ones) I have a Lexmark Z12 that is Default with same but
is wearing out(noisy and has to be coaxed to start printing
sometime)....I wondered if a Z11 or Z13 could be changed to print with
this Internet Receiver... It seems they couldn't be too much
different.(?) I'm reading the posts that the Epsons dry out and clog
frequently...Haven't had a minutes trouble printing with the refurb
Lexmark in 6 years...
I am retired RN...Had no knowledge of computers(Other than accessing
medical records) or this LBB Prior to taking it up as a hobby...It began
just keeping up with my scattered children by IM...and I got hooked to
all the other challenges this interesting hobby brings.
I frequently read posts on (printers) wondering if you would give me
some information on this subject.
TIA

No such thing as a silly question.
Unfortunately I suspect that if the modification is indeed possible it would
cost more to do than buying a replacement printer.
See

for a list of compatible printers.
