customize install procedure

I have built my deployment for a PocketPC app but would now like to add a
customized screen that reminds users of safety issues with using the software
and then asks them to click a box saying that they understand these safety
issues. How can this be done? thx.

Use a Setup DLL. Either code the dialog in C++ or have your Setup DLL call a
simple CF app that displays the dialog. Either way, you need to write some
native code.

This depends on how you intend on deploying your app with regards to writing
native code. You can avoid native code if you deploy via a storage card, and
target PPC 2003 SE onwards, then you could write a CF1.0 app that loads a
simple form before fireing off your CAB via WCELOAD.exe.

Whereas writing a setup.dll as pointed out earlier would require native code.
