Custom Shell Setup?

Hi, this is a beginner question so sorry i ran a search but didnt find
anything this basic.
I want to setup a minilogin w/ a custom shell to startup into a program. I
set the cmishellpath to the program location, but how do i install the
program once xpe boots up? Can i start up the program and cmd together?
Theres no interface for me to install it. thanks.

Hi,

You can preinstall program from Target Designer or install it during the FBA.
So after FBA complete your program will start.

PS:
I hope that you have tried to use some other program as custom shell just to see if you can do it.
Use notepad.exe for instance.

Thanks thats a good start. Would you mind refering me to a site or briefly
tell me how to do either of those methods? I'm reading the creating an xpe
shell but it doesnt talk about that. thanks.

I would recommend a book-- Windows XP Embedded Advanced by Sean D. Liming. I
knew nothing about XPe, got his book and had a simple image with custom shell
running with only minor frustrations.
