custom forms not displaying for recipient

I have designed a basic form, created a .fdm version and sent the form to the
recipient, he can open the form fine, however if I send the form all he gets
is the company disclaimer.

Is there a way the recipient can view the form I sent rather than the
disclaimer?

Cheers

You didn't check the "Send form definition with item" box on your copy of the published form, did you? Did you click the Edit Read Page button in design mode and design a read layout?

Checking the "Send form definitioin with item box" renders the form non-functional in most cases. Remove that option and republish -- on both ends.

I tried that and they still only receive the companies disclaimer, could the
need published on the server and not locally in personal forms?

It's more likely that one of the server's is stripping RTF content.
