custom forms keep crashing

John Smith

Hello,

I have a problem with my solution, custom forms i use in my solution keep
crashing (outlook is unable to open it saying that standard form will be
used instead). I failed to find any information about why forms can crach in
msdn kb.

Do you know anything about why they can crash?

Thanks

Bug found on 2002 and 2003 right now i think thats only b/c i do not test on
2000th hard enough. Happens mostly to "ipm.contact.*" forms but thats prolly
b/c they are most accessed. Forms are published in olPersonalRegistry
(published by formdescription.publish). Outlook is in IMO.

Thanks

Sorry, but I can't make sense of your message because Outlook 2002 and 2003 don't have an IMO mode. Have you tried clearing the forms cache?

Yes, i have tried clearing cache. Ok, Outlook is not in IMO but only
POP3/IMAP accounts are used(ie pst file), no Exchange.

Thanks
