Custom AutoCorrect Entries & Style - can't apply to all docs

Product: MS Word 2002

1.
** Custom AutoCorrect Entries **
Each time I made an autocorrect entry, it applies to that
document ONLY.
How can I choose to apply some of these entries to all
documents?

2.
** Custom Style **
Custome Style & Formatting are applied ONLY to new
documents.
Documents made previously will retain the old styles.

To the old documents, I need to apply my new styles to
them by:
- clicking on "Tools --> Templates and Add-ons" --
"Automatically update documents styles"

How can I automatically update the styles of all
documents (including the new and the old ones) BY DEFAULT?

Are you sure you're talking about AutoCorrect and not AutoText? AutoCorrect
entries are stored by language, so the language of the document would be a
factor.

Yes, I am talking about AutoCorrect.
For exmaple, I always mistype the following words:
- "following" as "folowing"

I would like to auto correct it.
So I add this entry to the document.

However the autocorrect entry applies to one specific
document only. I would like to apply to ALL documents.

The case is similar to style.

Suzanne's comments about language stand. If your document has a different
language tag than other documents then the AC won't fire.

I don't think the language-dependant function of
Autocorrect entries is why it cuases the problem.

What I face is Custom AutoCorrect Entries apply to one
specific document only, not all of them.

For example, I add a "si --> is" AutoCorrect entry in AA
doc. It is only applicable to AA doc.

There is no such an entry of "si --> is" in other
documents.

I need to re-add it for each document respectively, but
it is impossible.

That's the problem.

Have you checked? Even different dialects of English have different ACL
files.

Hello!
Yes, you are right! I thought English but with diferent
dialects as the same.

Now the problem is solved.

1.
Besides AutoCorrect, is there any other components which
are language-dependant?
If so, please point them out.

2.
Now raised another question, is it true that AutoCorrect,
Autotext etc. apply to "ALL" documents, cannot apply to a
specific document?
