If it's flying in, it's already visible. Thus, adding appear does not affect
the textbox. Add Emphasis > Blink instead.

Do you mean that while it is flying in, you want it to gradually begin to
appear? So the fade and the fly in happen at the same time? That can
certaily be accomplished, but first please tell me that you're doing this
for your third-grade kid's class, or for a surprise party slide show, or for
some other goofy purpose and not for your next boardroom presentation!
