Custom Animation from 2003 showing all in 2007

I opened a PowerPoint show in 2007 which was created in the 2003 edition and
the custom animation I created does not work properly.

I have bulleted points which are supposed to fly-in one at a time but before
they fly-in, they appear in white lettering and once they fly-in they are in
black, like they are supposed to be. Seeing the upcoming points takes all
the "suspense" out of the slideshow. Also, The shows were created so
students would have the ooportunity to answer the question asked. However,
if the answer is all ready showing, it is not much of a challenge. Anyone
else having this issue?
