custom animation

I use PowerPoint 2003. I no longer have 2000, or any previous versions. I
was creating a PowerPoint, went to custom animation, and see that they no
longer have "stretch" animation. How disappointing. I used to use this for
text and loved the effect.

Any work-arounds or ways to download just this in custom animation?

thanks

Dee,
The stretch animation is still available in PPT 2003. Bring up the Custom
Animation task pane, select your object click the Add Effect button. Slide
over to Entrance effects, slide down to "More effects". When the full list
comes up, scroll down to the Moderate effects. It is towards the bottom of
that part of the list. (By the way, with this effect, you can stretch across
or from left, right, bottom or top. Play with it and see if it does what you
need.
