Custom add to navigation pane

In OE2003, is there a way to add a custom item to the navigation pane such
as news grabber?

sorry, mean't the Outlook plugin/add on "newsgator"
 
No, since this is a mailfolder . You can however add it as a favorite in the
Mail Navigation
