Custom Actions/ Rules and Alerts

Hi - is there a way of setting up a rule and alert to perform a custom action
such as automatically inserting a specific PDF attachment to an email to be
sent to a particular email address if the subject line has "order" in it for
example. Ive looked at it but cant seem to find how to create a custom
action to actually test!

Custom actions are C+ programs. You may want to have a look at
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/index.htm to see if any 3rd party programs
will do what you want.
