cursor??

I have lost my cursor and can't find it?!! Whenever my
gateway with Windows XP home "sleeps" and I wake it and
try to log on I get no cursor.

Can anyone help with this problem.

I have reinstalled the mouse driver and it didn't seem to
help.

Taking a stab. Try Control Panel \ Accessibility Options \Display
See if you can change the cursor width. If so, apply and okay your way
out. (I use the area to keep mine as narrow as possible and
unblinking.)
