Cursor reverting to default.....

I have installed a custom set of cursors onto my machine, and set them all in
the personalize cursor screen. I click ok, and everything works fine.....That
is until I restart the system. After I restart my cursors revert to Vista's
default ones.

I open up the cursor thing again, and there all my cursors are, not Vista's,
listed. So why does it revert every time?

Am I the only one who gets this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

If the cursors aren't compatible, surely they wouldn't work in the first
place. Besides it does the same thing with all other cursors that were
installed by Vista, they would definately be compatible, but they still
revert to Vista's default on restart as well.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem, although I only change a handful of
the cursors rather than all of them. The reset occurs each time I turn off or
restart my computer, and I have to manually reset them back to the custom
ones. It's quite annoying, and I'm unsure as to how to get them to stop
reverting.

i have this problem too... i hope someone at microsoft is going to make an
udate that fixes this...unless someone already knows how to - which it would
be nice if they would post here
