I have a number of fields on my forms that have input masks - particularly
for dates (using short date).
The tab order works fine if somebody is working their way through the page,
typically when adding a new record. That way, they arrive properly at the
start of the date field.
However, if they need to go straight into a date field that is in the middle
of a form and they just click there without having come via tabbing, unless
they are very careful they often place the cursor by mistake in the middle of
the date mask and of course it then doesn't like whatever is keyed in.
Is it possible to force the cursor position to start at the leftmost
position within a masked field, regardless of where a user might have clicked
in that field?
