"Current security settings do not allow you to send html forms"

Phil C.

Hi.
When I try to run adobe photoshop cs html (help files are local to my hard
drive) help that apparently contains frames with a frame submitting a form,
on my win xp pro with sp2, I get a warning blocking active content. When I
tell the page to allow blocked content and try to do a search for a help
term that has me hit the submit button on the page I get a windows os dialog
saying : "Current security settings do not allow you to send html forms".

An experts-exchange thread has the following solution for
WIN 2003:

OK then
you can try this:

Open Control Panel >> click Add or Remove Programs >> then click Add/Remove
Windows Components >>
Select Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration >> click Details.
Select the user group(s) that you don't want to apply the enhanced security
configuration to - Administrators, Users, or both >>
click OK
Click Next >> click Finish.
Restart Internet Explorer to apply the changed security settings.

BUT the "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration" is not available
in the Add or Remove
Programs for win xp pro.

Does anyone have a workaround for Win XP Pro?????

Thanks,

Thanks Carey,

But the "Submit Non Encryted data in forms" was already enabled and indeed
was mentioned in the experts-exchange thread, so unfortunately it will not
solve the
problem. The solution I believe is to disable this Internet Explorer
"Enhanced Security" for the administrator, or at least figure out which
patch is preventing this submission
and disable it somehow.
