Current date and time

Hi all,

Is it possible to insert the current date and time (not static) into a
PowerPoint ppt or pps file so it shows on every slide?

Hi,

Click on View, Header ad Footer. Check Date & Time, update automatically.

What Glenna said, but it will not be updated once the slide show begins. If you
need the time updated as you progress through the show, you'll want to look at

I installed the addin found at http://officeone.mvps.org/. It does work,
however part of my presentation involves a list of information that scrolls
up the screen (like credits in a movie). With the addin running, this causes
the scrolling to stop every second before it continues. Any suggestions?

I assume the pause while the time display gets updated would also affect a
video playing at the same time. Could you please test this and report? I am
just starting through the time threads with a goal of multiple time displays
(several cities around the world for ham radio exhibit) but have videos
running simultaneously and don't want pauses. Thx.
