ctrl F = FIND. I believe I have overwritten this shortcut when
experimenting with macros. Can someone tell me how to get this shortcut
back to working as ctrl F = FIND?

Anita, I was hoping you'd get a reply because I've done the same thing
myself. You will have to remove the shortcut key from the macro you
assigned it to because macro shortcut keys override Excel's built-in
shortcut keys. To do this, open the file that's giving trouble and
click on Tools on the menubar, then Macro, then Macros. Click on the
first one on the list, then the Options button. If it doesn't have f
as the shortcut key, cancel and try the next one in the list until you
find one with f as the shortcut key, then delete the f from the box or
replace it with another key. I don't know of an easier way to find the
macro that you assinged f to. James
