Ctrl+E (explorer): Change opening dir

When I press CTRL and E, an explorer appears with the directory My Computer open. How do I change it to, say, D:/Archive

Thanks.

Hi

Type or copy/paste the following into the Target: pane for the WE shortcut:

%systemroot%\EXPLORER.EXE /e,d:\archive

%systemroot%\EXPLORER.EXE /e, - will open WE with My Computer expanded. For
any other folder, add the drive letter + folder.

Hi Kelly

Yes - and just re-checked - to both - but with a different named folder on
my D drive. I've also tried with a folder on each of my partitions (6
accessible) - all work and WE opens with specified folder expanded.

Oops - mis-read the Q. I was answering another thread - opening WE via a
shortcut - and got the 2 crossed. I'm just off out, perhaps as well.

Bless you, Kelly. For ONCE I was able to find a clear
solution to a nagging computer question without being
